Happiness is a choice…

How can happiness be a choice? If happiness was a choice I would’ve chosen it a long time ago. I didn’t choose to have dreams about her or to fall in love with her, it just happened whether I wanted it to or not it just happened, and it wasn’t my choice for her to just ignore me. I can’t just change my mood to be happy I can’t just choose, emotions flow out from what’s inside. Some say that I can look at my life optimistically, and sure I can do that but that’s not true happiness, that’s just trying to convince yourself to be happy. So don’t bullshit me about happiness being a choice because if it was a choice my life wouldn’t be shit.
